SOS is a national organization that works to preserve and protect the Office of Sheriff understanding the need for decentralization of government power, limited government, state sovereignty, and individual liberty.

Save Our Sheriff is a grass roots movement of involved citizens at the county level working in to reclaim Constitutional government one Sheriff at a time. To paraphrase Red Beckman from a recent interview, he stated that the freedom movement must be bottom up, not top down.

“Ideas are bullet-proof,” Red said. “In a leaderless organization the head cannot be cut off because there is no head.”

Save Our Sheriff cultivates this sentiment among our members, teaching that individuals working in tandem is key, and understanding that reclaiming the Office of Sheriff is the most important thing any of us can be doing right now.
